Alex Thursby

In his role as Group Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Alex Thursby is responsible for leading ANZ's growth in the Asia Pacific region, including partnerships with local banks in Asia.

Mr Thursby joined ANZ after 20 years with Standard Chartered Bank, where he held various senior wholesale banking roles in Hong Kong, London, Indonesia the United Arab Emirates and Singapore.

Most recently, he held the positions of Senior Managing Director and Group Head of Corporate and Institutional Client Relationships, Wholesale Banking in Singapore.
